20mph survey responses considered by working party

A SURVEY on whether Langholm residents wanted a 20mph zone in the town with the exception of the High Street has been passed to a working group on Dumfries and Galloway council.
The group will take forward the Langholm survey as part of its deliberations for the region.
The community council heard that 71 per cent of the 400 people questioned for the survey were in favour of the proposal, although the pupils at the Academy were against it.
