LANGHOLM Playcare held an open evening for parents and friends on Monday ahead of its AGM.

The event enables parents to go along to the community centre and meet the staff as well as see the rooms set up for the various activities that the children take part in.

Playcare looks after children from birth right through their school years and there are spaces still available. Parents are welcome to go along at any time.

Recently, the group was given the use of the Rosevale Street tennis courts as a play area and manager Catherine Tod said they hoped to have them tidied up and ready to use by the end of September in time for the school holiday in October.
