THE HIGHLAND dancers at the Langholm Common Riding games had a thoroughly enjoyable day entertaining the crowds on the Castleholm in brilliant sunshine.
The entries were judged by Ian MacLean of Polmont and the two pipers were Jim Hepburn and John Quinn of Fife. Two dancers under the age of seven took part – Jake Hynd and Leigh Bradford.
Organiser Lynne Hamilton said: “It was an absolutely gorgeous day and the dancers enjoyed dancing under the canopy on the platform. A great success.”
