Spirited win for under 20s

A SCOTLAND under 20 side, which included former Langholm hooker Russell Anderson, produced a spirited second-half performance to beat their International Club XV counterparts 13-12 in a closely-contested training match at Millbrae last Thursday.
The club side dominated possession in the first half and led 7-3 at the interval but in the second half the under 20 team commanded the game and an outstanding defensive effort paid off.
