South bears brunt

AS the rain continues to deluge the countryside, numerous seasonal activities are being held back. Firstly, silage is impossible to cut as the ground is saturated. Ewes can’t get clipped as there are not two dry days together and crops and livestock are not thriving well as a lack of sunshine halts this process.
