Lack of grass affects sale
THE Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 42 prime cattle, 12 young bulls, 36 OTM cattle, 45 spring lambs, 4,977 prime hoggs and 3,281 cast ewes and rams at the weekly sale at Longtown on May 2.
