After another wet week yet more agricultural events have been cancelled. Although this growy weather has seen ewes and lambs just as dear as they have been and store cattle very much in demand.

Although a bad forecast is expected this week, it is anticipated to get warmer in time for store lamb sales starting later this month. We also have our special breeding cattle sale at the end of July.

Last Thursday a larger show of prime cattle met a firm trade throughout as did bulls, although more numbers are required. OTM cattle again saw a good trade with more numbers. A smaller show of spring lambs produced an easier trade, although following in the week’s trend, with ewes being similar.
