Campaign gathers strength

LEADERS of Scotland’s farming union met cabinet secretary Richard Lochhead on Sunday about the drop in milk prices paid to farmers.
NFU Scotland’s milk committee chairman, Gary Mitchell said: “We have a very high-profile campaign with significant industry and public backing and the meetings with UK ministers and Mr Lochhead have been useful.
