Cornets meet for ride-out

KC ride out May 28 LANGHOLM’S Cornet Derek Hogg, along with his right and left-hand men Simon Richardson and Andrew Johnstone, joined the Hawick Cornet Jamie Richardson for the Mosspeeble ride-out last Saturday. The 28-mile ride-out set off at midday arriving at Mosspaul after three hours in the saddle. The cavalcade left two hours later, returning to Hawick along Buccleuch Road. Hawick Saxhorn Band led the riders from Volunteer Park to Tower Knowe, arriving after another three-hour ride.
