Roger still leads the Common Riding team

THE build-up to Langholm Common Riding is gathering pace and the committee have unanimously re-elected their chairman Roger Maxwell and vice-chairman Tommy Morrison to carry on leading the proceedings.

At the meeting in the Crown Hotel Roger congratulated Cornet Andrew Elliot on his election.
