Jessica takes art honours

PRIMARY school pupils from Langholm and Canonbie were in good voice on Monday for the Cornet and his right and left-hand men during the annual Common Riding concert in Langholm parish church.
Langholm Cornet Andrew Elliot presents the overall winner of the Common Riding art competition Jessica Kenny with her prizes
Cornet Andrew Elliot, along with Lee Earsman and Graeme Murray, joined families and friends who filled the church to listen to the choirs from the various classes in the two schools sing a number of Common Riding favourites.
