Cornet leads 76 in Benty ride-out

CORNET Andrew Elliot and his right and left-hand men Lee Earsman and Graeme Murray led 76 mounted followers in fine sunshine from Langholm on the Benty ride-out last Saturday.
Among the riders was semi-Jubilee Cornet Robert Rae, while Bill Harkness, the jubilee Cornet, made a special trip to the Benty to see the riders and join in the celebrations.
