Cornet at home in Common Riding classroom

LANGHOLM Cornet Andrew Elliot visited Langholm primary school recently to attend the Friday assembly.

The Cornet was shown paintings by teacher Joan Cubbon’s P6 class, which all had a Common Riding theme.
The Cornet gave a talk on being elected and other topics relating to the Common Riding. This was followed by a question and answer session with the pupils.
