Andrew is voted in as Cornet for 2012

ANDREW Elliot was elected Langholm Cornet for 2012 last Friday when winning the public vote in a close contest between four candidates.
Andrew, 30, who lives at Burnfoot of Ewes, won by a margin of 39 votes from his nearest rival Simon Tweddle after a recount.
