Have a laugh with the legendary Grumbleweeds

The show is full to the brim with laugh-out-loud comedy routines, great female singer, a brilliant support comic, theatrical magic and fun for all the family.

See exactly what's kept The Grumbleweeds at the very top of their game for more than 50 years as they perform some of their hilarious comedy routines in this non-stop variety spectacular.

Since the 1960s The Grumbleweeds have dominated the UK comedy scene. From TV to radio, pantomime, summer season, theatre, cruise and cabaret the act has never failed to impress.

Timeless classic routines and unforgettable characters weave their way through this seamless act, interlaced with minty-fresh routines and impressions to earn this duo the highest respect among their peers and the right to call themselves The Guv’nors of live comedy.

For The Grumbleweeds 1998 marked an exciting change in their career. After 25 years in showbusiness as a five-piece musical band, the group decided the time was right to make a major change in direction.

Drawing on all their years of experience and know-how in the industry, they developed, updated and introduced a sparkling new, fast-moving act, embracing the entire spectrum of entertainment.

It was a change which was to propel them into the next millennium with a vengeance. Yet the emphasis remained firmly on laugh-out-loud comedy and family-friendly entertainment.

Their success over the past 50 years has been moulded to perfection through a mixture of domestic cabaret clubs, concerts, pantomimes and summer seasons.

It was on radio that they made their major breakthrough, with their highly successful BBC Radio 2 series The Grumbleweeds Radio Show.

It ran for 11 years from 1979 to 1988, creating 15 series in all. Twice they received the Sony Award for best radio show at the Television and Radio Industries Awards.

The duo have enjoyed success in almost every area of the entertainment industry, even appearing on Coronation Street, Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere, Emmerdale and Heartbeat as serious actors.

They are justly heralded in the business as The Guv'nors, boasting record-breaking success in nearly every major theatre and seaside resort in the UK.

They maintain the enviable skill of being able to entertain every conceivable kind of audience. There are very few acts in comedy history who can stand the test of time and boast such a proud theatrical history as The Grumbleweeds.
